Fassianos Installation
Flowers, birds and bees
Alekos Fassianos (1935-2022), one of the most influential Greek artists, visited in 2016 the hotel, still under construction and created especially for the Electra Metropolis an art installation with his typical figures designed in thin metal, which dominates the main hall of the hotel.
Blooming flowers, fluttering birds and buzzing bees were placed on the blue background of the atrium wall until the 8th floor, symbolizing nature reaching for the azure Athenian sky.
