Known as āJohn of the Ladderā, Kyriakidis always carried with him a ladder, on which he climbed in
the midst of the crowd in order to captivate with his lens, during seven decades, countless
events and celebrities. Portrayed here are politicians, actors, writers, composers, artists, music
bands, annual high society balls, beauty contests and fashion shows, the International Fair,
the Film Festival, the Song Festival ā all scenes from the glamorous city of Thessaloniki
during the 1950s and 1960s.
