I have been working at Electra Hotel Athens since 2014 as Assistant Housekeeping Manager. I have studied as a Computer Applications Specialist and I have attended training programs in vocational guidance, marketing and housekeeping. In parallel to my work, I study as a Technician of Tourist Units and Hospitality Businesses in a private school.

The Housekeeping department plays a vital role in meeting guests’ needs and that is my main concern. With teamwork, effort, consistency and love for this commitment.

The philosophy of the Electra Hotels & Resorts group, which matches my personal values, has provided me with the opportunity to develop my skills and to continue to grow and contribute by gaining knowledge and experience. This success and professional growth demonstrate my commitment to optimal performance, while maintaining consistency, ethics and professionalism.

I came in June 1980, as an assistant waiter. Tourism came into my life and caught up with me, I continued my studies at Professional School of Tourism and then my journey at Electra Hotels & Resorts was only evolutionary.

For many years my passion is a warm welcome for each and every guest. My goal is a long-term relationship of trust with travelers who choose Electra Hotels for their stay in Athens.

Kaba Mohamed

My name is Mohamed Kaba. 

I was born 24 years ago in Guinea, a country in west Africa. I arrived in Greece in January 2016 after a difficult and dangerous trip. I am beneficiary of international protection, that is, I am a refugee. I live and work in Athens.

In October 2019 I started working at "Electra Metropolis Hotel" -one of the best hotels in Athens - which belongs to the "Electra Hotels & Resorts" Group.

I like Greece and Greek people. During the years I have lived in this country, I have met many wonderful people who have helped and supported me in my new beginning in a country unknown to me.

My dreams and goals for the future combine the art and technique of cooking with football. These are very demanding goals. It takes patience, perseverance and dedication.

I’ll make it!
